What We Were Asked To Do
Arguably the world leader in yacht and powerboat accessories, Lewmar always look to set the standards others follow.
4c were engaged to review the design of the existing product range. We took advantage of a new fabrication process, allowing higher precision and versatility to enable an aesthetic which complements its surroundings as well as reducing material usage, reducing part cost, and enabling manufacture and assembly off-shore.
Our Solution
The V Series is the world's first compact vertical stainless steel anchor windlass for both power and sailboats.
After launch, sales of the V-series grew by around 100% in three years and with the later release of the Pro-series, held off cheaper rivals with a 30% sector growth in the highly competitive market.
