What We Were Asked To Do
Cashmaster International is a highly successful family business that builds and distributes digital money weighing devices to customers such as Tesco and Starbucks.
As clients they understand and embrace design to allow both end users and corporate interests to benefit. They approached 4c to redesign the Sigma 105, Sigma 170 and Omega 230.
Our Solution
We needed to consider product use, product assembly, product range and maintenance. This meant a complete concept to production design programme. The outcome of this has been:
- Reduction in assembly time
- Reduction in fixing screws from 32 to 6
- Easier product breakdown for maintenance and recycling
- Merging of product ranges to make use of common plastics
