What We Were Asked To Do
TUV NEL has long been recognised as a world renowned authority on industrial flow measurement technology, they operate the UK’s primary gravimetric gas flow standard. As part of a scheduled upgrade operation 4c were asked to assist TUV NEL engineers with the design and bespoke manufacture of an automated quick connector placed in a high pressure air line.

Our Solution
The solution delivered was a combination of pneumatic actuators, programmable logic control, custom machined parts and standard components. Like all successful engineering projects the key to success was good teamwork, the end solution was the result of the combined knowledge of the in-house TUV NEL engineers blended with the mechanical design and multi layered experienced of the 4c design team. The fully operational device was delivered on time and to budget.
