If you are a student or recent graduate studying at a Higher Education Institution in Scotland. and have a well-developed business idea or an already established venture, enter the New Ventures Competition to win cash prizes, in-kind support and gain some essential exposure.
SIE’s competition has over 600 teams entering and many of the companies that enter the competition go on to great success, e.g. Reactec Ltd, Critical Blue, Lux Biotechnology, Pufferfish Limited, Renewable Devices, Thinktank Mathematics, TPLD and Red Button Design.
The competition is designed to accelerate your business or social enterprise and help unleash the full potential of your ideas. Previous winners and entrants of our competition have gone on to be offered investment on BBC’s Dragon’s Den, secure significant funding elsewhere, and are continuing to grow their companies successfully.
