We’re excited by this latest purchase by Google. It’s exciting to see big players out there making an effort to work on products that improve people’s lives and not just giving money away.

For those of you who don’t know about this product, it’s a $300 utensil that uses technology to counter balance hand tremors that reduces the amount the spoon travels. More information can be found at: www.liftlabsdesign.com

supspoon During our research for our own spoon to help those with cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s and essential tremor, we found the Lift Lab spoon and we found its highly technical approach to solving the problem interesting.

We decided to take a different route as originally our spoon was supposed to be a one off with very little maintenance and completed over the course of a 3 month internship. We feel the S’up Spoon has created a lower cost, tech free alternative.
